My doctor gave me 60 mgs of prednisone to take for 5 days, then down to 40mgs day for 2 days, then 20 mgs a day for 3 days. Is this the normal course of treatment with prednisone? Should I take it right away even if it's nighttime? I heard you cannot sleep taking it. Should I take the entire dose at once? Thank you

So no one ever posts here, thought I'd tell you how I did with the prednisone. I am in day 7 of Bells Palsy and have had no trouble at all with sleeping... in fact, I'M EXHAUSTED! Prednisone is VITAL to recovery , so take it and don't worry about all the other stuff :-)
