Hello. I have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and Ulcerative colitis. I also have joint pains, insomnia, sudden unexplainable blood pressure spikes, sudden hypoglycemia, panic attacks and other symptoms. On rare occasion I have had some skin ulcerations but not as often as seems typical by my research. Lately I have neck pain and horrible headaches.

Bechets is a rare disease and most of my doctors prefer going to the more common or more likely diagnosis, but my gastro today said that its plausible that I have Bechets after I mentioned it and I feel it would explain my symptoms like high blood pressure and severe neurological symptoms during these acute anxiety attacks.

Does this sound like Bechets to you? How did you get diagnosed?

" It does not sound typical. Neuro-Behcet's (which your headaches and neck pain might suggest) is usually a LATE sx. in the disease. I personally have never read where people with Behcet's have high blood pressure. Have you had a skin test? A Rheum (bloodwork) panel done? Skin ulcers are very common and I believe a "must" for a true diagnostic opinion. Good luck in finding out what is going on,

Heather "

" 3% never get mouth lesions. I have had lesions before but not often and its a pretty mild symptom compared to my digestive and neurological lesions.

Nothing is typical about my case though. "
