I am doing a lot better, but my goodness, all the medications is ridiculous! I was actually able to clean my house this weekend, a huge feat as I have not been able to do so in a while. I am paying for it tonight, having a flare, but my energy is slowing creeping back. I met my new primary MD, liked him a lot, he is sending me to a cardiologist to get checked which I wanted to do anyways. He seems very on top of things and sincere about keeping me healthy. Take care all, hope you have a good week, and LETS GET THIS BOARD ACTIVE! With such a rare disease, we need regular support and the ability to talk to those who understand.

" Glad to hear you have a good primary MD. It is so important to have a good doctor.
Hope your energy continues to improve. My daughter does my housework for me.
Is it best to rest when you are having a flare?
Hugs Gilly "

" I am very happy to find a concerned, caring MD, given that I will likely sue me previous MD of 10 years who tried to convince me this was all in my head, blocked every needed referral, and gave a damn about my REAL pain and severe suffering! When I am in a flare, I tend to panic/become very anxious, as I can swell to 4 times my size all over! I am learning to control it, and unfortunately having to cut way back on my activities. I am tending to avoid any large social event out of fear of panicking if I start to flare.I will have to talk to my daughter about the housework, but being 12 with ADHD, not sure how much she can do alone LOL.
