ok i've been there!! i know it's horrible and you feel embarrassed! u can't go camping or to slumber parties or stay with friends or even sleep in a hotel without being worried about wetting the bed i have been wetting my bed when i was like 4 years old maybe i can't remember but i was pretty young until my early teen! my parents took me to the doctor (as they told me cauz i can't remember) and they said that the doctor told them im fine and it's normal and soon it will go a way! BUT IT DIDN'T! so when i was in my early teen i felt so depressed about it! and im sure some of you know what it's like to be a joke among some of your ignorant siblings! SO i felt like i had to stop this somehow! so i went to a random google searching! and found a random website with easy steps to stop this! it takes few months or even a year (IT DEPENDS HOW WORSE IT IS)! and if it did not work then you really need to see a doctor!! !! ;)
OK here are the tips!!: 1. STOP DRINKING WATER OR ANY LIQUID AFTER 8:00 PM 2. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE YOU GO TO BED (even if you dont feel like it! but as soon as you set on the toilet seat you will pee) . 3. SET AN ALARM TO WAKE YOU UP AT NIGHT (3:00 AM is ok) SO YOU CAN GO TO THE BATHROOM OR YOU CAN TELL SOMEONE TO WAKE YOU UP! LIKE YOUR PARENTS OR YOUR PARTNER FOR EXAMPLE. 4. DO NOT AND I MEAN DOO NOOT EVERRR DRINK ANYTHING WITH CAFFEINE AT NIGHT LIKE I SAID BEFORE (AFTER 8:00 PM)! IT MAKES YOU WANNA PEE!! SO BE CAREFUL 5. MAKE SURE YOU COVER YOUR BED WITH SOME KIND OF WATERPROOF SHEETS! These tips work if you stick to the advice EVERYDAY! until the problem is really gone! it will end so take it each day at a time! because at first you will notice the change! i mean you will wet the bed! but not as much as you used to! like 3 times a week maybe for example until it's really gone! and like everyone else ur body can alarm you even if you are sleep that u need to go to the bathroom! so don't get to depressed like it's the end of the world! you can do it! HEY! IF IT WORKED FOR YA!! PM ME!! GOOD LUCK |

Thanks for sharing what worked for you -- these are all good pieces of advice and I'm sure they will be helpful to a lot of people! As you said, though, some people have greater physical challenges to overcome than others, so it's good to remember that this may not work as well for everyone as they did for you. But still, like you said, if you can reduce your wet nights from every night to 3 times a week... or from once a week to once a month... it's still good progress and something to be thankful for.
Just wanted to add this note to encourage anyone who's tried these things and NOT had them work 100% -- because they don't work for everyone -- and it's not your fault or anything to be ashamed of if you still have accidents in spite of your best efforts to stay dry. If this doesn't work, just keep trying new things and remember than any progress you can make (whether it's physically reducing your wet nights or emotionally getting better at handling it when it happens) is good, and worth working for! Good luck to everybody and many dry nights!! :)
