" Shellieeeyore,

Many bedwetters wet multiple times during the night. They are also notorious deep sleepers. That is why the alarms don't work on some kids. One of the reasons for the over active bladder at night is parents mistakenly restrict a child's liquid intake during the day thinking the child is taking in too much liquids. Actually the more he drinks during the day the more it triggers a hormone in his brian called an Anti Diuretic Hormone, or ADH. Cut off his liquid intake 2 hours before his bed time and he should eliminate every thing he's taken in before bed time. Also stay away from know diuretics such as soda pop, tea, diary products, and even chocolate. All of these excpet diary products, have caffine in them that irritates the bladder. When the body breaks down diary products, it produces a hromone that irritates the bladder.
I would also suggest you mention the multiple wettings to his pediatrician.

I hope this helps. "
