Hi all,

I just added a new post to the new Adult Bedwetting member group that was recently created. It's a place where we can talk about some of the struggles and challenges that are unique to those of us who are adults and struggle with this problem -- whether as a new problem or due to never having "outgrown" it from childhood. I know from previous posts that there are a number of other adults here who still struggle with this -- please consider signing up, and come and talk with us! It can be hard as an adult to still be dealing with something like this that's so often thought of as "just a kids' problem" -- but you're not alone here! Hope to hear from more of you soon... :)

" I can't believe more people suffer from this like I do! I feel a bit better now. Last night was the worst for me. I was dreaming I had to take my granddaughter to the bathroom and decided I should go too. I try to wake up as soon as I realize I am on a toilet, but last night I remember my brain telling me that I was already awake and really doing this, not just dreaming. What made it so bad was my granddaughter was having a sleepover with me. Thankfully she didn't wake up and I could take care of things without her "finding out". I just confessed to my husband today about how often this really happens and I am planning on seeking medical advise. "

" My problem is very similar. I am dreaming I have to go to the bathroom and frantically looking for a restroom. When I find it I start going for real. If I wake up and run for the restroom I usually cant stop going once I start. I wear adult diapers almost every night. I get brave now and then and dont wear them but I have a waterproof pad under my side of bed. It was embarrassing at first to wear a diaper but I actually feel much better when I have it on. "

" I am over 70 and have had the same problem all my life.It was not treated well as a kid and I came in for some teasing and bullying until I found it better to joke about it and so became quite the clown on the topic as my way to cope.As an adult I have tried to take it in stride - "wash & go" I say, and get a life! " I am very glad to see this group. I am a bed wetter and I have been a bed wetter my whole life. I never "outgrew" it. For me now it is not that big of a deal anymore because I have a very supportive wife. What is great is to know that there are other bedwetters my own age out there too. Its such a private thing to be an adult bedwetter and to be in night diapers and plastic pants. I am glad to see others like me. "

" I am already there. Thanks for setting it up.

I am 37 and been a bedwetter all my life. Even wet 2 nights ago. For years I thought I was alone in the world and now after finding these groups and there are ones that are 17, 25, 29, and even close to my age, I know I am not alone. "

" I'am sure glad to find this group, where you can talk about bed wetting without guilt as I'am older and never had this problem as child but can't go to bed without diaper now as bad results due to bph.I still try to do everything as normal treat the diaper like glasses or just another form of underware. " I'm 19 and I've had bladder issues my whole life, but the bedwetting started along with the day wetting about a year ago...all at once. Apparently I always had an overactive bladder or something, but something happened and it just threw everything out of wack... "

" I never was a bed wetter my entire life until I reached about 58 I am now 60. My problem is that I either dream I am peeing and actually start going or early in the mornings about 3-5am I feel like my pee is right at the end and about to start. Two days ago I woke with an urgent feeling and actually started going as I got out of bed and continued all the way to the bathroom. I had been wearing adult diapers but stopped since it had been several weeks without a problem. "

" I thought I would share my most recent incident to see if I am alone. I am a 60 yo male that started bedwetting about 2 years ago. The other night I had a dream that I had to pee and was desperately looking for a bathroom. When I woke up I was standing next to the bed and apparently tyhought I was in the bathroom. I was standing there peeing and holding myself. By the time I was really awake I was completely done, probably my worst accident yet and I had not worn a diaper that night. "
