" I don't think that's true Lisa... I enjoyed seeing your post very much. Just didn't seem like the kind of thing that needed anything added to it, you know?

Nothing wrong with taking a break from here if that's what you need - and you really should be concerned with whether or not it is helping YOU, regardless of what you feel like you're helping others. That may sound selfish, but you need to take care of yourself first in order to really be able to help anyone else anyway! But please don't think no one appreciates you or that no one liked your post! If there was a "like" button like on Fecebook, I would have clicked it. :) "

" Last weekend I was at a 3-day workshop on race, ethnic identity, and related issues of inclusion/exclusion. Several people there who work with youth, minorities, people with disabilities, or as chaplins talked about how important it is to have allies from both outside and inside those groups when support is needed.

But we can't wait until there's a need to make the connrections so they are there when we need them.

If you have friends here remember that they may need your support sometime and you can't know when. "
