Boring!

Aides just left. Food prepared for the weekend. Grilled chicken, chicken gumbo...

Now I am waiting for the wheelchair repairman to come. My power chair is less than 2 years old. Both legs are broken, the vinyl arm rest is cracked, it won't hold a charge. I am in the manual chair. With only one arm working, I go around in circles a lot!

I am sure he will take the chair & I will be stuck in one place for ever. I do enjoy the time i spend in the chair, even thou it is not usually very long.

I am listening to a Lincoln Rhymes murder mystery & attempting needlework.

What are you doing to keep from being bored?

" At least you have someone there with you. My pain pills usually don't make me sleepy unless I haven't slept in a while. My pain is from muscle spasms.

Are you knitting or crocheting the blanket? "

" crocheting...i love doing it...i learned when i was just 10 years old..i have found that now i am older that it helps me get rid of stress at night after the kids go to bed..and when christmas time comes around everyone loves getting there own blanket..it is better then buying something because my gift came from my heart and my own two hands.. " My needlework is never good enough to give to anyone according to my mom. She died 3 years ago & I still hear her voice telling me i made a mistake.

Oh well I have all sorts of goodies for me!

I am attempting to do a picture frame in cross stitch but who knows if I will ever get it finished. "

" I would lend you my chair if there was a way to get it to you. Well to keep me from being bored here are a few things I do: Research internet on odd things, as that wonders me off to somewhere else. Next thing you know 2 hours went by. I also read magazines, books, I crochet, knit, crossword puzzles, sudoku, Find a word. I watch movies, talk on the phone, come to this wonderful website. I dont know what else to sugeest to you other than what I do... "
