tramadol is good and works for some people.

I am currently on Lyrica,Oxycontin,Endone and Tramadol.

Along with numerous opiates and non opiates there are also opiate potentiators. I think amytriptaline, which is a TCA, and trazodone increase the analgesia of opiates. Certain antihistamines are known to increase their effect as well; like Benadryl (dephenhydramine). Some SNRIs, like Cymbalta, Milnacipran and Effexor have claimed pain-reducing effects as well. Finding the right meds is a challenge...

I am on Opana ER 20mg/2 day and Opana Oral 10mg/3 day. Ultram ER, a non-narcotic, was recently added to broaden Opana's spectrum. With the Ultram my pain level stays less than 3 for most of the day. The nice thing about Opana is that it doesn't cloud my mind or make me foggy which is a plus being a computer programmer.
