I got to the surgery center and the lady was rude and said I had to pay a $500 co-pay all of no shot. I left, called doctor and fussed and now getting it Tuesday the 20th at the county hospital. Suppose to be no co -pay. "

" I've noticed lots of people don't finish the series because the shots are painful and don't seem to make an immediate difference. I felt the same way but finished the series - then had 6 more shots for the arthritis that set in. I didn't see the difference immediately but the buldging disc's dissapeared in a couple of weeks. Then I went for accupuncture for the nerve pinching... 3 months then it finally worked. I don't know, but maybe finish what was started and see if it makes a difference ??? (ps... Dr's seem to forget that the financial part can be soooooo stressful for patients ...then in turn makes the pain worse). "

" I have had injections 6 times in my hips....it takes a few weeks to really tell if they work. I can say that it helped a bit enough for the pain to be tolerable.....the shots in my back did not work, however like peolpe have said everyone is different it DOES work for some I say give it a try but wait a few weeks to see if it has worked "

" The shot itself was not painful for me as my doctor used sedation and I was out. After I woke up I was really wobbly on my legs and went home and slept. Today has been one week and so far I can not tell much relieve, if any. But I will go through with the series and see if it helps, because it can't hurt much worse then now. "

" Going to get the second shot Tuesday, since I am alsleep it was not real painful. The doctor said my insurance makes him try shots first. I wonder why he injected about 4 or 5 inches to the right of my spine. "
