weed is a muscle relaxant and works within 4 secs of having it,
it helps out some peope and others it doesnt.
i have found that having some before bed makes me sleep better and less pain.

I havnt but dont plan to either. I did talk to my Dr about it, and what she thought cuz people kept telling me to smoke it too.
Basically she isnt in agreement with it, and thats fine for me, cuz one I cant stand the smell, the munchies, the sleep which I could use, nor the feeling of being paranoid! Yes I have smoked pot before ...LOL it just isnt for me. But if it works for others, then go for it!

When we live with the constant pain we just want to try anything...almost anything. That is the one thing I like about my meds, is that they do not make me high or feel weird, yet they take the edge off of the pain and I dont think about it much.

I did become desperate about 6 years ago for pain relief and a friend of my husband who also had chronic pain,used to eat hash cookies every night for pain relief. I had never had them before but being as desperate as I was,decided to try them. OMG I wish I hadn't. Within 20 minutes,I was screaming at my husband to phone for an ambulance. I had sharp shooting pain throughout my body,my head was up on the ceiling and I felt weird,weird,weird. Never again. I honestly thought I was going to die.

i think the gouvernment should pass the law and make weed legal. Then ppl who need it for pain can smoke it without the scared feeling youll get arrested.

it is an amazing help for me, i can't function without it, though some ppl are more sensitive to the intoxicating effects, and therefore may have undesirable side effects, like drowziness, or mild paranoia
