After ten back surgeries and 10 years of constant pain I fell a month ago causing more damage to my spinal cord leaving me unable to walk. The sever psoriatic arthritis keeps me from being able to propel a manual wheelchair so my Dr.Prescribed an electric wheelchair telling the insurance company I will be confined to it for 12 to 14 hours per day.....the bastards denied it saying it was not medically necessary, yet I can no longer walk and need a chair and cant roll a manual one without terrible pain and swelling......here is my questions when do we just give up when do I just swallow the 9mm pill and end my pain suffering and give up? So what if the frigging bastard insurance companies win my pain and suffering would be over.......am I depressed hell yes and mad as hell too but I simply dont have any fight left in me........I have never been a quitter but the insurance company has put me over the top.........

" The insurance companies have become so cruel.....they won't approve for me a cardiac cath I had done for 34,000! It hurts to know they don't care about our lives, just the profit from us. I have aetna, I've heard they are bad but don't know who is 'good' anymore! I'm sorry for your dilemma, I'm walking in your same shoes. Please don't let it get to you, just realize that you are not alone in this! "

" you have the right to appeal any decision your insurance company makes, and they have a right to perform a formal review of your case, call them directly and don't let them bully you, after all, if you really need it, you really deserve it. in some states you can go on public assistance or medicaid as a supplement to private insurance, they are a bit more lenient about durable medical equipment "
