I have severe back pain, and I also have gastritis and GERD. So my problem is I can't take Ibuprofen, Alive, Aspirin etc. for my back pain because it makes my stomach burn really bad but the my back pain is consistent. Does anyone know of another effective pain reliever that is easy on the stomach?

i think you should take your meds with milk or food! that buffers the stomach so it doesnt make and saturate your stomach with gastric juices.

why hasn't anyone suggested medical marijuana? not only does it ease pain, but it will help lessen the nausea or irritability that is caused by other meds. i hate to beat a dead horse here, but seriously talk to your doctor if you are a state or country that allows it. try it out as well, you may find that you get complete relief, or it might not help so much

My md prescribed Tramadol HCL 50mg, up to 100mg. that and a heating pad. a good book, try to take you mind off the pain, It only hurts when I move, I move anyway. Find a good MD, to help you, and try and I know it"s hard to, meditate.
