Back Pain Support Group

i want to add to this , i am upset, because i am in so much pain from my neck, and my back is acting up too. I have an appt with the Dr. tomorrow to talk about the arthritis & bursitis that showed up on the x-rays. The robaxin has stopped working, when I bend my neck froward it starts pinching & burning it makes me want to heave. My family is getting sick of me complaining. I m sorry for dumping on you guys too.

I'll be having my 4th surgery sometime in the next month or so. DON'T GIVE UP! The answers will come. I have to manage a multitude of conditions too and it is completely overwhelming for me at times. It's ok to vent, saying it here is a good place. Some of the best relief from pain comes from just being able to tell someone what your are going through. Today I had an injection in my shoulder for shoulder impingement syndrome and am in quite a bit of pain. My post-it for today is "victory is ahead, it just wasn't my season before." Remember it is ok to roll up into a ball and just get through the pain. Take the moments when you can and try and make progress. I'll be thinking of you. Be good to yourself and let your guilt go.

pain and depression..yep very common together unfortunately!!
I too live with it day to day,and there are days I'd rather be in the ground! But then I have to think about all the good in my life that this pain is trying to over ride.
I just started a new anti depressant called Savella...so far I havnt had any side effects so thats a plus.

When you are living with chronic pain, it isnt just effecting you physically, but also mentally.

My take on surgeons.... they cut you open, stitch you up and toss you out! It is your primary Dr who then has to pick up all the pieces.

I hope you have a good primary Dr. They really need to be on your team!!

Thank God all you want to do is sleep, mine gets so bad that I want to end things, but the doctor's do not hear me. They seem to think I want drugs, and that is the last thing from my thought. I would do anything to not have to use the drugs. To completely eliminate them from my life. I went on vacation and that was just not the thing to do and now, I am in bed, not able to get up, eat or anything. I have not been on vacation in years, I thought that I could handle it, but hindsight now tells me that it was the worse thing that I could do. Live and learn right. I am going to call my back doctor tomorrow and see if he will do something for me. I pray to God he can , even if it means another operation. I just want out of the pain. I hope that you can hang in there, hopefully better days are ahead. best of luck. kase

i find a med that helps then i become immune to it. Then the pain is unbearable.
