" If you had a Myelogram, you are going to find out everything (or almost everything) that is wrong with your back when you see your Doc on the 14th. I kind of had similar symptoms like you before my 3 level/360 fusion. Unfortunately for me, my surgery was a failure and I had to have 3 more in top of the first one in order to keep myself out of a wheelchair and at least on a cane..

Wait for your results and see what your Doctor says. If he recommends surgery I will do the following: Get a second opinion with another surgeon. And which ever Doctor you decide to have surgery with (if u need it), check their back grounds thoroughly! Most States allows you to check Doctor's for licensing, board certifications, malpractice cases, reprimands, etc. So, do not do anything until you get a second opinion and you get the status check on the surgeon.

You said that your last Doctor told you that you have MS, what kind of test did he do to confirm this diagnosis???
These are some of the tests that have to be done to correctly diagnose someone with MS:

Neurological Examination
Spinal Tap or lumbar puncture
MRI
Evoked Potentials (an electrical test that checks to see if MS has affected your nerve pathways)

If he only did an MRI and not all of the other tests, how does he know that you have MS?? Those he have a magic ball? If he didn't perform all of these tests on you and diagnosed you with MS without you been confirmed of having MS.... the first thing that you need to do is get legal counsel, so he won't do this to anyone else! and sue the pants out of him for misdiagnosing you and having you take all of this meds for MS when it wasn't necessary! And second run, run away from him!!
I hope that your results on the 14th will give you a complete picture of what is happening and that you will listen to the good advice that most people here at DS gives you. Take care and keep us posted. "

" tipper is soooo right { she always is} listen to what she is telling you. sadly there are so many dr's like this out there. You sound like you are having some nerve issues. And with the testing you just had done you will find out what is going on and from there you can see what needs to be done, I would also reccommend getting an opinon from a neurologist. pleas let us know what the mylogaram and ct showed. It will be a relief just to get a proper diagnosis. meanwhile i hope you get some relief. "
