Let me explain:
my doc referred me to a OS. I really liked him but want to hear from other docs before I agree to let someone cut me open. In order for me to get a second opinion I must go see my regular doc first. ok, that shouldn't be an issue but I have been trying since may 1st to get another appointment. It is as if when I tell them I need an appointment to get a refferal for a second opinion they send me off to "no way are you getting an appointment land"
I get told they have nothing this whole week try again next week.

(Yet my daughter cut her foot and they got her in that day... not complaining they saw her but hope you understand why I ask if they have nothing why can they see her? and no it was not anything urgent I just wanted to make sure they gave her something so it would not get infected and they did)

And yes I have tried just asking for the ok to see another doc, leaving a message for the doc to just take the whole 2 min it would take to write out ... give refferal for second opinion... or whatever she has to type out.

I feel as if they have left me out to dry. I was thinking about just going up to the ticare office myself and demanding it.

Anyone have any thoughts? I am trying to play their game with all the appointments, but this is just a little to much.
