Seanny is finally trained!!!!!!!

Well, I haven't been on to much lately. I have been working really really hard at potty training Seanny. He was trained to do pee pee but the poopy he wasn't. Sean held onto that control for dear life!!!!! I think it was also sensory issues.

When we started to get really serious about it which we were in the past believe me..... we took away the beloved tv and told him if he wanted tv he had to do poopy on the potty. Sean held out for 1 1/2 months!!!! Can you believe it???

So finaly I took away the pull ups and Seanny held in his BM for 4 days!!!! I started to get nervous and had to give him a little chocolate ex lax because I was afraid of a bowel obstruction also was afraid the BM would be painful. So he took the little piece of chocolate. The next day he had a look of panic on his face and had to go poopy I quickly brought him to the potty and he did it and has been ever since.... it has been a little over a week. Wish me luck that he continues, I am almost afraid to celebrate and jinx it. Big Hugs Denise

PS: We are living proof that it can be done.... because I really thought that I would be changing diapers forever!!!!!

" Oh Denise hun! WHAT A VICTORY!!!

I swear that Andypants will not be potty trained until he's 17!!! The docs keep saying, NO, Trust us, it'll happen.....but I don't believe it!

I've tried EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! LOL, except taking away the TV. I'm now at the point where I'm nagging him every 15 mins or so asking if he's gotta go. I get the big old "NOPE".

We are also using our Danno as a decoy. He's pretty easy going and we're putting him on the potty to invoke some sort of inner jealousy.

Even the big Nascar store at the Mall of America doesn't motivate Andypants enough. We're talking big car simulation rides! Same old NOPE.

I'm dancing the happy dance of joy joy for you hun! I couldn't be happier for you! What a relief.....no more ooey gooey diapers! Thanks for taking one for the team! 1-1/2 months is a LONG TIME!

It's good to see you back on!
HUGS!!!
