and the kids are out of school. we all know how important routine is to the kiddos. how are you managing the summer so far with school being out and what are your plans for the summer?
i have just recently moved to KY. my son finally has a huge yard to play in with a big drive way and has spent more time outside..... still we do the schedule and talk about what we are going to do each day. we are also role playing different social scenes and discussing right and wrong choices to help with the transition to the new school this August. i have noticed that he wants a little more independence this summer. doesn't want me hovering. wants to ride his scooter in the driveway and doesn't want me standing right there with him. kinda hard to realize that my little man is growing up.
