Have been gone for a while cause my son has really been getting me upset and hasn't been on computer much and I truly apologize but back now and need some advice Please if at all possible. Any kind of advice is very much appreciated!!
NOT sure about this and wanted to ask some of you and see what you think about it. My son was diagnosed with PDD-NOS and ADHD and the doctor prescribed him some medicine and I was doing research on it and I am just not too sure about this cause I do not want to drug up my kid you know. sam is on it now. weight gain is my biggest issue. he's on .5 but we split the pill in half and the weight gain leveled off.
his agression is gone....... he has improved in a lot of his social skills. yesterday we were at a soccer tournament and he actually passed the ball to other players and was yelling encouragement. i'm quite pleased with the risperdone but i also don't rely solely on the medication.... we do a lot of work at home on social skills and he gets ot and pt thru the school. i also do epsom salts baths twice a week and he gets extra b 12 tablets .
