i had been checking my pulse upon waking in the middle of the night
ever since i had experience with a racing heart one night. i have had approx seven experiences with a fib in the last 4 years. and they all occurred upon waking up in the middle of the night. NO PALPITATIONS WERE FELT. only discovered because i was checking my pulse. (now if i hadnt been checking my pulse at that time ,later in the day i would have discovered it with palpitations and i would not have related it to sleep apnea. since getting my cpap seven months ago i have had no incidents of a-fib. for any of you who have lone a fib i hope this helps. carol Posted on 08/02/09, 01:08 pm |

After my first AF that lasted for 7 hrs it was horrible. the doctor wanted me to use my bipap machine . Now I am scared not to use it. I can't believe hardly that some of you don't know when AF comes on. Mine hit me like a ton a bricks like a heart attack. Get the bipap machine my doctor said that It can prevent AF from happening. See i think that I hurt my heart in some way during my attack of Af. It has left me with chest pain. Any one else have this?
