I take 2mg Lorazapam only when needed, and average only one tablet every three or four days. It helps the anxiety and aching in my chest.

i had a question for you rotorhead. when you say aching in your chest, do you mean when you get a panic attack because thats a symptom of your anxiety?? or is the aching from something else? just curious, because i recently (actually tonight) felt a tightness in my chest but i think it was just because i was in a state of anxiousness. any thoughts??

Hi guys, I'm new to this group. Have had heart anomilies for years, but only diagnosed with a-fib a few weeks ago. Definately get aching and tightness in chest and palipitations, palipitations mostly a 4:00 am aching nearly all the time. Otherwise very healthy and in great physical condition. Dr. put me on Lopressor (25 mg 2x/day - more make my heart too slow). I added Xanax (.125 mg 2x/day). The combo seems to be working.

I was recently diagnosed and take Xanax and this helps when I go into a panic thinging that Af is coming on. Life is awful living this way, but what can I do? Night seems to be the worst because everyone is sleeping but me.
