vagal afib

does anyone have afib that wakes you up from sleeping in the middle of the night? I have had this happen 3 times, the first 2 times, I thought it was a panic attack, on the 3rd time, after going to the er, was told it was afib. I take a aspirin daily, and 180 mg of diltizem. Two of the episodes were a year apart, and the last happened 4 mos, after the 2nd. My cardio dr. said my heart was strong, I had a echogram. I didn't feel bad during this, just scared. I have read on medical sites, that vagal afib seldom develops into chronic afib, but it still worries me alot. I was very fatigued preceding each episodes, and had little sleep in the days preceding them. Anyone had anything like this.
Thank you for any advice.
