Has anyone taken magnesium for their AF? If so, were you on any antiarrhythmia drugs at the time? I am currently on flecainide and metoprolol and displeased with their lack of efficacy. Research seems to indicate some positives for magnesium. Cardiologist is unavailable for 3 weeks. Will also ask pharmacist. What do you guys know?

Doing research on the site and found DougL's post. Pretty amazing. Anyone else with a similar story? Dissimilar?

I've taken Mg while on flecainide and atenolol. It didn't help me, but I ehard it helps others.
I've taken anti-depressants or 5 htp and that seemed to help.

I'm taking magnesium--that and a few other herbals may have been helping me.
