As I said before, I am having chest discomfort. It is mainly at night when I go to bed. I just cann't get comfortable in bed because of it. And I am so tired. Alsmost to the point of exhaustion. Talk to a nurse today. She stated it will take time. I want to go back to work!

" the type of discomfort feels like a heavy presure. Almost like some little kid sitting on my chest. It only happens when I am lying down. No meds yet. Went for a coumadin level today. It is still low. The nurse said it will take some time for the fellings I am having to go away. "

" Hi Jfifer,
I am sorry to hear about you distress , I had a lot of chest pain and tightness im my chest for a long time after my Aortic valve replacement and my Failed Maze treaatment.
I did suffer with a lot of fluid retention and I had two susequent operations for fluid , the last being a Pericarum window cut to let the fluid drain from around my heart.
It is now 3 years since my OP even though I am in Permanent A/Fib I have lost the chest pain and tightness although the surgeon did say that as a result of having my chest opened and then wired back up I will always get a bit of tightness because of the permanent wire ties in my chest.
What was your or did you have an Operation? or is it just the A/fib that is giving you the tight chest?

Take care ..........Kvntoday "
