" It depends what kind of chest discomfort and why you are having it. I stopped having problems after I took meds, but I was in sinus rythm. "

" Good advice from Aronia. You need to report chest discomfort to your doc if you haven't already done so. When the a-fib was at its worst for me I experienced tightness in my chest. Also, it felt as though I had a frog jumping around in there. The heart rate was often way too fast and then I felt short of breath and dizzy. It seems to be a little different from person to person. I have been off meds for about 10 days now, so am feeling very hopeful that the ablation I had in February was successful. "

" Sometimes I would get stabbing chest pains, then other times I would experience tightness in my chest during my a-fib & flutter attacks. The pain for me always went away as soon as I converted to NSR. "

" My permanent Atrial Fibrillation wasn’t ever painful but once when I stop taking diuretic. Now every few days I take 20 or 40 MG diuretic called furosemide and doing OK. I noticed that I have to eat smaller amounts of food and not excessively sweets including very ripe banana. I had major improvement when I started taking 2 drops a day of the Lugol’s solution.

With Atrial Fibrilation you can live long life if you do not surrender yourself to greedy cardiologists and change life style based on research on the Internet. "
