Let's just say after a total comedy of errors the cardioversion that was scheduled for Monday is canceled until I can work with the new doctor at OHSU to make further plans. An EKG today showed A flutter for the first time, which supposedly is an improvement on A fib. But at this point, I have no idea whether that changes every other 5 minutes or not. So exhausted. Another night of lost sleep. Not sure how I'll stagger through the day. Medical update: Made appointment with OHSU anti-coagulation clinic for Tuesday to initiate them following up on the Coumadin dosage. Back still awful last night and this morning. Woke twice and stayed up for more than an hour during the night. Appointment with nurse practitioner today at 2:45 to check with urinalysis whether the infection is gone or not. So guess what I found out last night when I finally thought to check if Flexeril had any side effects - like maybe making my back pain worse instead of better. At Drugs.com under Flexeril it clearly states "You should not take Flexeril if ...... you have a heart rhythm disorder...." Docs doubled my dose of beta-blockers (Sotalol, this time around) a few months ago, because I had a couple of longer, stronger AF episodes. But it seemed to me that my AFs increased even more, longer etc, after increasing the dose, as prescribed by my GP (he had consulted with my cardiologist)

Off to see the ortho again tomorrow. Fortunately only 1 hour out of our way, not 6 hour round trip. If there is bone necrosis, then new surgery, if not - then some non-surgical interventions. More worried about the liver, RA flares from being off mthx. Emotions holding up surprising well! No despair or depression. Summer is a good time for me to be sick. Had a 10 hour session Friday.
Started at about 1pm and finished up at about 11.
Pretty annoying.
I still did everything that i had to do but didn't get to the gym which was something that I wanted to do.
Had people over Friday night and tried to act as normal as possible.
