" Inhalers do not always work for me either.
I am coming to believe that they are of limited usefulness particularly where you have limited airways and breathe control. Singulair does work for me and salbutamol usually.

There may be something else going on which is more long term that needs checking out by a specialist in respiratory medicine.I would try and make an appointment to see one so it can be investigated further. That is what I did when my existing treatments did not work for me and I have improved as a result. "

" I was just like you. Nothing was working, till the pulmonolgist put me on albuteral tablets and advair, 100/50. We are still trying out different steroid inhailers, though. Those tablets are keeping me off the nebulizer though. Basically, he has upped the albuteral, this is in all of the inhailers a little more than what is prescribed. We tried 4 mg 2 times a day, and now we are up to 8 mg 2 times a day with advair 100/50. Your doctor should be flexible with your treatment. I've been calling in every week till my meds are stabilized. I think we finally found the right combo though. Just saying, all the combos you are trying, sounds like you need more albuteral. I was doing what you did, using the Sprivia to open the airway right away. It works for the time being.
I hope this helped, seeing someone else meds. "
