Do you use a peak flow meter.

I am very concerned. I have not used mine in quite a while and it is currently showing 350 . Taht seems low to me. Predicted amount is about 530. My best for 3 tries is 350 average. And then I start to cough.

" No, however I think they could show inaccurate readings.

I'd suggest going to your respiratory doctor to have a lung function test.

Or maybe you are just going through a bad time with your asthma.. "

" Have tried the peak flow meter again and again - all I can do is 350 ...

instructions suggest I should be able to do 550.

I do not understand this at all. "

" If I ever hit 400 I think I would not have asthma, my PF is usually around 300 and my doctor set my goals. I only use it when I am having symptoms. "

" I haven't used mine in awhile. I only use mine when I am having problems also, but I think my peak is in the high 300s. "
