Flovent

Recently I just started treatment with Flovent, a controller. Time is too soon to see if it has started working. Does anyone else use this, and has it helped? I hope it does as I have had no side effects from using it. My asthma is persistent and I need a controller to steady it.

Thank you!
Christina

" I am, have been for almost a month. It doesn't taste bad and I love that. I'm not sure if its working though because of my congestion. "

" Yes, the congestion would make it worse. Have you had less asthma attacks though? "

" Yeah. But I will know more tomorrow. I have my breathing test. So he will tell me if my lung function has improved and I hope it has. "

" Guess what.... The doctors office canceled my appointment. My doctor had surgery and they said he will be out for a while. My new appointment is at the end of October. But I am on the cancellation list. "

" We don't have alot of money right now. So unless it starts getting worse I cant. My mom will get really mad. I'm having a hard time getting her to fill my flovent. "

" Oh, I am sorry for the troubles. try the saline salt treatment. A nebulizer is 60 dollars or so online and you do not need a prescription. This would be a better option. "

" No you do not need one. You can buy them even at medical supply stores. "
