I have had asthma since I was about 18. I am currently on advair. Singualr 10 mg, Spiriva. I was in the Doctor's on Tuesday and she upped my advair to the 500/50 dose and put me on qvar. I started predninose 30 mg's that night because I was wheezing and am down to 20 mg as of today. I was in the ER yesterday, I have been wheezing since yesterday early morning and have been doing nebulizer treatments about 4 hours. In the ER they gave me IV steriods because I had been throwing up yesterday morning. I am trying to relax as much as I can. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in adavnce.

Im sorry you're having so many flare ups :( My lungs aren't happy with me either. Ahhhh how we love ragweed season
anywho....with the upped advair dose remember to wash ur mouth out right after or better yet, gargle with listerine...it can give you thrush (OWWW) if you dont For me, if the air is humid, it helps my asthma. I'll swim in an indoor pool for exercise a lot of the time. Have you tried a humidifier at home? feel better!
