Have you ever felt like someone was using your AS to control you? Or that someone thought they had an advantage over you because you have this disease?
Just wondering, cause I feel this way often.

" yes, people think that just because i can't respond as quickly, or because i can't follow their every move and all they say, that it means i can't comprehend anything. but really i have no problem understanding what they are saying as much as i do trying to come up with a response. it's very frustrating, but i have come to terms with this. i just have to remember that only those closest to me really understand. they know if i'm in an awkward position, or around new people, i will probably say something awkward.
