Arthritis makes it very difficult for me to get out of bed in the morning as im sure it does for everyone who suffers from it. Several of my friends who also have that difficulty, told me to purchase a large rubber ball and do about 10 minutes of exercise with it as soon as I get up.It does loosen you up and allows you to have more mobility.

" Have you tried the ARthritis Foundation exercise DVD.Take Control with Exercise.c. It covers range of motion, strengthen w/resistive bands, work muscle & joints, an endurance workout. About 45 min. I find it to be excellent, its gentle workout for us arthritis people. "

" My physician says that swimming is the best exercise you can do for yourself when you have arthritis, as it places no impact on the joints. Exercise ball? Sounds like potential injury waiting to happen to me, depending upon the progression of an individuals symtoms. "

" That sounds good if you can, but those that can't bend their knees like me won't be able to exercise with the ball. I can't even bend down to pick nothing up if I drop it. Those that are able to use it, I wish them the best of luck and my prayers are with you.. "
