Ok so this is what has been going on with me. After having my son I started going to a chiropractor for my back. I have always had back pain as long as I could remember. Got worse has time went on. Chiropractor took x-rays and of course my spine is not straight so he starting doing some work to it. Seemed it got worse when seeing the chiropractor. I ended up in the ER in so much pain. They gave me pain meds and just sent me on my way. Chiropractor sent me to A pain management doctor. Seen him and he said it looks like it may be Fibromyalgia and may be a start of Arthritis in neck. He prescribed me a muscle relaxer and Lyrica for the Fibromyalgia. Also Lidocaine 5% ointment. He ordered me to do an MRI of my neck to determine if I have arthritis. Been taking the meds and actually they have been helping. was feeling great till I got in an accident with an ATV. Dumb me should have known better to be on one of those when having back issues already. But was on vacation and was trying to have fun. So hit back of head on tree and fell very hard on butt. Went to ER and they did CT-Scan and found out I fractured tail bone a little bit and everything else is ok but my neck has been killing me. But they did find something else on CT-Scan that was not caused by the accident. A lower back bulging disk. Great now I have to deal with that. My son is 3 months right now and this all just happened in a 3 month period. I am 24 and dealing with all this physical crap already!? I am stressed and in pain. I also have a 4 year old who may have ADHD. I also just recently had abnormal pap and now have to see OB-GYN every 6 months to make sure the abnormality goes down. Sigh. What else can go wrong? With all that I have had been diagnosed with supposedly now I am going to go straight to see my actual physical doctor and see what he thinks about it and what I should do to get myself better. I have all these doctors saying one thing or that. Then I will just take it from there. I should have gone to my physical doctor in the first place. I am not sure if I really have the fibromyalgia. It is a lot of trigger points on my back that is the same as fibromyalgia but I don't have problems with my knees or elbows. Also with rest and waking up in the morning I feel fine and best in the morning if I slept in the bed I have. My pain is more as the day goes on and it is worse when I do more physical things. Walk, lift, sit for long periods of time, or stand for long periods of time, bending, etc. So yeah I am overwhelmed with all this and stressed!

Relax, you just had a baby. Your body has gone through a lot of stress during child birth. No wonder you are in such pain. Give your body time to get back to normal.
I had an epidural when I had my first born, and I suffered serve backache for 6 agonising months after the birth of my baby. During labour, my baby was posterior, and that gives me the most agonising backache. Labour lasted 24 hours, they had to give me an epi. Enjoy your baby, that will take your focus off your aches and pain. Take care of yourself.

Hello, you sure have been through so much. Maybe if you try to break it down on paper and decide what action you want to take next. I agree with maxirose, enjoy your children and relax as much as you can. I have a breathing technique I use, breathe in to the count of 4 and slowly release through your mouth to the count of 6. It works wonders to help relax. Practice daily and you will be doing it easily and when you need it your body will automatically do it and you will feel better.
After you make your priorities for your physical issues, go to one DR at a time and if you need do a 2nd opinion. I have a 23 yr old Daughter with a bulging disc, we think it might have started when she was 18 and doing her 7th yr of gymnastics in combination with a job as a server. She is going for cortisone shots soon, after seeing 3 Drs. I would advise you to take someone along to your Drs, so they can add things you forget, or to help you if you miss anything. Get your records and test result so you can plan the next visit. If your spine is out of alignment, it might be normal that way. So many of us have a twisted spine, S shaped or other type. In my opinion trying to straighten it could be worse. Do you have any x-rays from childhood? That would help any Dr you see. Good luck, and I hope you can relax and enjoy those precious children.
