K so ever since i was small about 4 3 years i got really bad pain in my legs and arms. Its this annoying pain that does not let you walk or stay focused. I usually don't drink medication till it gets really bad once i get there i take some Advil or Tylenol . Just 2 days ago i got it when i was at school i count do anything about I dint have medication . once i got home i was ready to cry it was so bad and it lasted almost for 8 hours till i took the pill.
Its more constant during the winter time ( but this year felt more like summer it was so hot here ) but its getting more constant and its getting in my nerves to have to take a pill every day. My mom says its because i am barefoot all day at home and touch cold floor which i know it inst true and i don't know why she says that since she has it arthritis I told the doctor once he dint really pay attention and just prescribed some Acetaminophen. But i don't know what exactly is arthritis and need expert advice from all you guys so please help. Thank you so much Posted on 04/01/09, 11:04 pm |

Cold weather makes the joints stiff with arthritis.
When i was told by doctor i have it he gave celebrex, an anti inflammatory tablet and that's all he could do. During winter i kept the house warm and kept on the move so theirs less chance of flare up.

Yeah i kind of though of that i guess mom was write. Ill see what the doc can do.
So i guess its not a major problem. I don't have to worry about warming up the house its already hot. Its just annoying i hate taking pain killers every day. I just had one like 45 min ago

If your mom has it chances are pretty good that you have inherited it as well. Listen to her as she has no doubt picked up some tricks to deal with it over the years. I have arthritis and it is agravated with tile or stone floors. In the arthritis water class people are always complaining in the winter more often. The arthritis.com group can tell you where to find classes. They helped me so much I didn't need medication in the beginning. Good Luck

thats kind of funny because most of my house is tile..
i get home and always take of my shoes and they start hurting even if it is hot outside.. and in the summer we always have the ac on and they start hurting it is aggravated by cold stuff.. but i don't get all the other usual inflammation and all the other stuff .. i think about it sometimes if it is going to get worse ass i become more older... but yeah i will go on the website thanks
