Advice:
Is ecercise really that helpful?

I have pain behind my knee..in the back of my leg. My doctor says itīs arthritis..and I get recommendations from friends and some of you here to excercise that knee.

I am just wondering as I have less pain and swelling when I manage to stay off my knee and use my heating pad. Even the swelling seems to be less after this. Shouldnīt this tell me something? Or am I totally wrong here?

Appreciate any thoughts you have..

" Hey my motto is whats good for you might not be good for me. Why I say that with my DDD in my lumbar and sacrum I must move around or I will hurt for days. so not so much of excersise but moving around or just a little walk will help ease the pain with warm compress or shower I can not sit in the tub because of compression, But one day I hope I will.
