" I use Freeze-It i get it at the local drug store for about $9 a tube its a gel that you put on your joints i put it on the back of my neck when stiff it helps quite a bit. If really bad put that on and the heating pad really makes it work well...

Also if you have insurance that will cover it their are Lidoderm patches you can put on and they help you have it on twelve hours and take off twelve hours these are things i have found helpful in joint pain. "

" The Lidoderm patches work well especially when the pain is at it's worst. The Ibuprofen also works but be careful of your stomach. It can cause stomach upsets and worse. If you try this, make sure you protect yourself. There are OTC meds that can help like Zantac and Prilosec. Just be careful.

" I've got advanced RA, and the pain never stops. I've been unable to work for over 7 months because of it. Some of the things I've found that do help ease the pain and keep swelling down are Omega 3-6-9 complex. Double your Calcium/Magnesium intake.
Drink as much filtered water as you can, every day. Very important is to keep moving. It hurts, I know, but when I don't move around as much as I can, the swelling is much more intense. Good luck, and I hope this helps. Pete "
