I was diagnosed with Chiari back in August & had a list of symptoms... I was in a bad car accident a little over 2 weeks ago where my car flipped over. Thank God I had no serious imjuries but now my spine is really screwed up. I have slipped discs in my mid back, bulging discs in my neck, dextroscoliosis, grade 1 spondyliothesis, I may be missing something else. Now I don't know what is causing what symptoms...

" Oh, what a shock to your system!!! With all that you are dealing with, but...thank GOD you are alive!! I have survived a very bad accident myself, a few years ago, and should not be alive to tell about it. Faith that God has a plan is the only thing that keeps me going. I'll be praying for you, Pink...this must be causing so much pain! Do you have any pain relief right now?

Since the accident was just two weeks ago, I hope you are in a position where you can rest and allow things to settle down and see what is the most important thing to address first. I pray you have a good neurosurgeon, and that he/she is someone with great understanding of Chiari so that they can determine what, if any, effect this has had on your skull base, etc.

Thank the Lord you are at least alive...and I pray for your pain and suffering and your doctors and future treatment. "

" Thank you for the prayers! I thank my seatbelt greatly in that I didn't go through my windshield. I do have pain relief, but it's tough on what can be taken with what, I have many different medications... I'm still trying to find a neurosurgeon. I have a GREAT orthopedic Dr, he acknowledges the Chiari, but can't help me with it : / "
