I have had two MRI's ordered by a GP. The GP called me and said the reports show no issues since my last decompression surgery. I have thought all along this may just be stress and carpal tunnel on my right arm. Now I wonder if I should continue with my appointment with a neurologist to check further. The GP called me yesterday after two unturned calls to his office.
I am sure this will get even more expensive when I see a neuro. My surgery was 1991 and very well is not a problem now. I enjoy life with a positive attitude, I have a hard time thinking all this is stress and carpal tunnel but hate to spend any more money on my self. The GP told me to go get my results on disc and take to neuro if I wanted a opinion of a neuro. Makes me wonder why? Is the person reading my MRI experienced? I asked when they took it and was told they have a few ACM patients yearly. Thanks for all your support Posted on 08/26/09, 12:08 pm |

Send them to Dr John Atkinson, he reviewed mine for free and got back with me after only a day. I eventually had him do my surgery because he does hundreds a year, and he did a GREAT job and im now symptom free! He didnt charge us a dime , examined my x-ray, and gave us great console. Good luck!

Have it re-read by neuro radiologist looking specifically for ACM related issues. Not just surgical technique 1991.
