Anyone From Ohio - Start New Support Group

Is anyone here from Ohio? I'd really like to start a support group in Northwest Ohio, but I'm not really sure how to start? I know of at least 6 people, including my Mom and me, that have Chiari in this area.
I'm just not sure how to get the word out. I contacted the local newspaper about our story, but they never responded. I was hoping that would get people in contact with us. Any suggestions? Posted on 12/12/08, 10:12 pm |

im in ohio but im in south east ohio Cincinnati area, I have Chari, and hydrocephalus, want to keep in touch ?

I am from Ohio grew up in Loveland. Now live in the Batavia. My Neurologist wants me to use the Mayfield Clinics Neuro Surgeons. But I just found out that they are not in my insurances network. That was a real bummer. Now we are searching for a NS in my network that is good or I may be just going to have to eat the cost. Because this is my health. Anyone got some good docs names out there.
