Having quite a bad attack at work, but I refuse to give in and let it win, so I just get up and walk around for a while. Does anyone experience their symptoms worse at work, I am a little tired and find when I am exhausted the anxiety is worse

" I get anxious when I have to meet one-on-one with one of my team and my face gets hot and my head sweats and I feel like running back to my desk so I can turn my fan on and cool back down. I hate it. "

" I get anxious around people, so work can be very difficult sometimes, I have had a few panic attacks at work in the past, one was that bad that I had to have time of work and it developed into depression. I think tiredness plays a big part in anxiety, it seem to be worse when I'm tired and feeling unwell. "

" One time I sat down at my desk and it was like my brain suddenly turned into cement. Then I couldn't stop crying. Then my heart felt like it was about to explode so I left for that day and the next. Before that I had a panic attack at work. Had tons of little symptoms before that. Now I'm laid off. I think part of the reason I got laid off is the anxiety had been going on for so long and was affecting my work. Now I'm anxious about getting another job! "

" I suffer from mild depression and anxiety attakcs. I had a sort of breakdown at work in August and needed to take off almost 3 months because my anxiety level wa so high. It was the best decision I ever made. I relaxed, regrouped, got on Lexapro and began seeing a therapist. Life isnt perfect and I do have side effects from the meds but things are much better now than they used to be. "

" When I was working I was fine while working, however, at breaks, I would get really depressed and sometimes cry for no reason whatsoever and be axious over thoughts of the future. Now that I am on medical leave I must stay busy to keep away from the anxiety. I want to sleep most of the time. But there are times I am totally ok and can function fine. Being by myself has been a problem. I have always been pretty much a loner and depended on myself, however, Now being HIV, it is becoming more and more diffucult to be alone. "

" I totally agree Babis, my anxiety seems to rear its ugly head when I am totally exhausted and sick. I have had a cold for a few days as well as tired and my symptoms seem to increase. My main one is the sharp wave of unbalanced feeling. One minute i can be typing or doing something the next I feel i have to quickly grab something. Its just a small rush for a few seconds but it really annoys me "
