" Hi Janleigh- I know how you feel, lots of anxiety and trouble sleeping. I have found it easier to sleep if about a 1/2 hour or so after taking my Xanax I take a hot bath and read in the tub. I usually put some lavender oil in the tub too, or chamomile- anything calming will help. I find that the soothing heat and smells calm me and when I get out feeling somewhat more relaxed I put on the jammies and climb into bed. If I am still not ready to fall right asleep I will read in bed until my eyes droop. I also find that the book helps me escape into another world and calms my anxiety. I am always here if you need to talk. If you need a good book suggestion let me know.

Best of luck! Dragonfly "

" I use a lavender spray to put on my pillow and a sleep balm on my temples and wrists and with that i go to dreamland, because for ages it took 3 to 4 hrs to get to sleep but the smell is so comforting it's lovely. All natural which is even better :) "

" ask your doctor for Ambien and another possibility is seroquel. I take lorazepan, ambien and seeroquel for sleep. i too am facing a divorce. My heart seems to always be beating out of my chest so I definitely need these meds to survive my days. Hope that helps! "

" Geeze girl, you have been hit with three of three of the top stressors you can go through!! No wonder you are having a hard time sleeping.

I was gonna suggest there are herbs out there as well. The one I tried, I noted it didnt help me sleep as much as when I did sleep it was fantastic, it has melatonin, chamomile, l-taurine oh and gaba, which is suppose to be good for anxiety. There is also the turkey amino acid, tripto, as well as a new one lemon gesh forgot what that one was...anyways this might be an answer for you too. I myself hate that drugged feeling when I wake up so I stay away from like ambien or lunesta. "
