I have a constant tremor - I think because of my anxiety because I had it before meds - and if I'm in an anxious situation it gets so much worse. My legs will also start shaking if I'm super nervous. They said I could go on a medication to stop the tremor, but I'm on so much already, I don't want to add anything else. Its embarrassing sometimes and can be annoying if I have to work with small objects. Its not the worse thing in the world, but I'm just wondering if anyone had a tremor go away with time or if anything worked for them?...

Before i was treated for my anxiety, i had a constant hand tremor. people in my office would ask me about it. after i was diagnosed and put on effexor, it went away. honestly, i think what made it go away was my understnading of what was going on with my mind and body. my doctor was great at explaining to me what was happening with my brain chemistry, how it was impacting my physical body, including my tremors. I found the book "Hope and Help for your Nerves" by claire weeks very helpful (i think that is the title), it is an older book, but it explains the very real physical effect of anxiety on your physical body. this made me realize why things were happening. i went off my medicine almost 10 yrs ago, and my tremor rarely returns, unless i am extremely anxious, and then it goes away again.
