" Making the decision to not let it rule you is a great step. But putting into practice is of course so much harder!

Have you explored your cognition regarding the anxiety? I don't know enough (well, any) of your treatment history, so I hope i'm not being redundant, but CBT is such a great tool that I have to talk about it! I had so much anxiety and depression that I was thinking of hurting myself. I got help in the form of medication and CBT therapy, and realized that I was basically talking myself into my anxiety. I would go over situations in my mind, thinking of the worst possible outcome and playing it out, even if it wasn't remotely likely!

Your upcoming job might also have something to do with it. It's scary to start something new! Especially with a history of anxiety. What's going to happen? Can i handle it? did they pick the right person for the job?
You should try to remember that they liked you and think you can do this job!! otherwise, they wouldn't have hired you. And usually, you will have training and support during the beginning of the job, and won't be doing it alone! So remember to ask questions, find someone you can relate to, and talk about your fears with someone (maybe not your boss), and before you know it, you'll be great at your new job. Just wait! I believe in you! :) "

" Yes, I hope you are talking to a therapist. Sometimes we need another person's point of view to help us. "
