Anxiety Support Group

hi lbav I know exactly where you are coming from. I just wrote a journal entry actually about my own situation. Just when I think I have decided what to do something changes my mind. You're right yer damned if you do and damned if you don't and SO much is riding on making the right decision in some cases you are so scared to make the wrong choice. I asked my doctor about it and said I wanted to get the shot without the adjvant and he said from what he is witnessing in the ER and the hospitals right now he urged me not to wait cause it would probably be too late if I waited for the other shot and I would greatly risk getting the flu before then. I have a 8 month old and a 5 year old in school. More than half the school is home sick and from taking to some of the mothers, their kids are REAL sick and not getting over it very fast. I know a lot of the mothers and I know the ones who would over react and the ones who wouldn't... it's scary either way! Anyways my doctor said he got his shot the day before and he urged us to get the shot so we got it as we left the office. No turning back now... it's so hard to know what to do.
I wanted to believe that it was hyped up and maybe to a point it is but on the news they are opening more clinics, they said the children's ward is now FULL of kids very sick with the flu and my doctor said himself it was already very bad at the hospital adn it's only the START of it all... trust your gutt and think of your sources I guess. There are lots of videos and stats etc. but I'm sure my doctor has considered those things as well. If he got it, I should trust him shouldn't I? After all that is why I go to him, he's a licensed doctor, I am not... very hard I know...
