Anxiety Support Group

I used to when I had Epilepsy. Haven't had one in awhile, in fact almost forgot that I had them until I read this. I know it's not a good feeling, more scary than anything else.

I got them a lot when I was younger and had seizures. I still get them occasionally and they are a weird experience. Especially when I'm at work or doing something important.

Anybody else?

i have been experiencing these (about 3-4 a day) over the past 4 days. i didn't know if it was related to beginning my meds (Wellbutrin XL 150mg) or if it is stress.

what do you mean by a brian zaps. I get weird feelings that only last a second...can you be more specific

It's such a weird feeling, and it's so hard to explain. It kinda feels like a little jolt of electricity on either side of my brain. Almost like a headache that only lasts for like a second. That's the best I can describe it. It's not painful just really weird.

mine are slightly like the feeling of when your hand is asleep and it is almost tingly and electric too. last 2 seconds. i never thought about it, but i have headaches with mine.

I get them every time I wean off a drug and onto a new one...any medication changes lately?

like your hand falling asleep. i get that. it is usually on one side of my head and it makes me panic because i start to think i am gonna have a stroke and die. sometimes i get this feeling that runs down my spine...like it just feels like hot water from my head down my spine and that puts me into a panic too :(

Yeah I've had them... only when I wasn't on my antidepressant anymore. It kinda hurt, electricity feeling in my head and then my ears always felt like I was underwater for awhile afterwards. They are common and not harmful. Did you stop any meds recently?
