" I am and have been on 60 mg of Paxil vs. Paxil CR. It could be the CR isn't for you, as I tried Ambien CR and it didn't work for me, so I was switched back to regular Ambien. "

" you need to give them a good 4-6 weeks before they take effect, unfortunatly you have to put up with feeling crap for weeks but you will feel better after a few weeks, be patient and give it time there is a light at the end of the tunnel, if after few weeks 4-6 u dont feel better go to the doctors and change them, i felt really drowsy and tired alot until i got used to them "

" I take Paxil and I believe it's the generic form. I take 15 mg's and yes at first it can make you feel like your going backwards. But stick with it if you can for a good 4-6 weeks, that's when you'll notice if it's truly working for you or not, in my opinion.

Good luck :) "

" Try the regular paxil. I like it much better and i don't even need it everyday.

Paxil CR stays in the system way too long....Talk with your doctor about trying the regular one. You may sleep better too.

Hope that helps.

" @ Zoey - In my experience, my appetitie increased with Paxil 20mg. I have gained about 40 pounds in the 4 years I have been taking them. I have read, though, that a few people lose weight while on Paxil. Everyone's body is different, so you only find out the true effects by taking it yourself.

Don't be afraid to take them. If you experience side effects that are unbearable, your doctor can prescribe something else. There are lots of medications out there, and I am confident one will work for you.

Paxil has been a lifesaver to me. It has cut down on my panic attacks tremendously.

Good Luck! "
