Anxiety not getting better

Latley I have been getting way worse. I started taking Paxil a week ago and now I am having bad thoughts. I haven't slept in 3 weeks. I fear I am going to lose it. I keep wondering if I am better off at a hospital? I have also been sick twice in the past month. I never leave my house, how do I get sick? I want to go and talk to someone but I have no health insurance and can't afford the $80-$160 hour scale. Please any suggestions??

" Get up, walk around, go outside in the sun, do something, keep moving, and drink some liquid.

Sit down, write out what you want to talk about, and then get up and move around. Look at what you've written and see what ideas you come up with.

Best wishes on making it through and hope you feel better soon. "

" Perhaps the Paxil is having a bad reaction with you? The first anti depressant I went on made me suicidal...not fun. Felt like I was going crazy. Didn't want to think those thoughts, yet could not stop them from entering my mind. I live in Canada so I don't know what to suggest in terms on health insurance and seeking professional help, but you did see a doctor to get the Paxil, is it possible to go back to that doctor? Maybe this drug just isn't the right one for you, it really is trial and error. Just because a drug is a great drug and works for many people, does not mean it will work for you. Since you can't afford to see an expensive doctor, is there perhaps a free 1 800 number you could use to speak to someone. Where I am there are some for children and some for adults. It's not long term, but in those moments when you don't think you can take it, they are there to help bring you down and get through it. Remember, having a mental illness is a journey, there are ups and there are downs...there will be times in your life where you may feel like you don't have one and times where you feel like it defines you. Just remember, this too shall pass. In five years, you won't remember this particular moment so try not to dwell on it too much. :) "
