getting nervous waiting for traffic?

So I love driving. ALways have. Nothing better than a nice long country drive

Well about 2 weeks ago, I was on my country drive when a car rode my bumper for about 6-7 miles. I got real panicky and then forgot about it. For about a week I was fine when all of sudden I was driving and got panicky again.

Well the netx few days were off and on, on teh driving. I was not gonna let it beat me so I wanted to keep driving.

Well one problem is when I get into traffic and wait for cars to pass so I can go on teh road, I have these thoughts of just pulling onto the road. I start to get a panicky and just wanna go. I have no intention of doing this though. When I get on the road I am fine.

I have been feeling a bit low (not real happy) so I don't know if maybe it's from that?

" I would call it anticipation anxiety, and as long as you are following the rules of the road, waiting until it is clear to get on the road, it's fine.

Be careful.

Best wishes. "

" Try to have confidence in yourself that you are a good driver and you will do the right thing. It's just the anxiety you are feeling scaring you. That's ok, even if you feel a bit anxious you can do this. - stillearning57 "
