Heavy chest and feeling like I can't breathe

So, for like the last 2 weeks I guess, I've had this constant heavy feeling in my chest like I have a brick on it. N I feel like I can't breathe. There's nothing stuck in there or anything - n it's a cycle - i focus on it - so I can't breathe - n then my anxiety gets worse.

Last night I even woke up in the middle night having a panic attack that I couldn't breathe. The only thing that calmed me down was hugging onto my boyfriend and letting the feelings of anxiety just flow and not trying to fight them. then I finally was able to fall back asleep.

But all day I've been worried about this n the heavy feeling in my chest is still there. And I feel like I can't breathe, even tho clearly I can.

Has anyone else felt like this? And how did you get rid of it?

" Thanks, I've actually been dealing with a different health issue for the past 3 months. So I see a dr at least 1x a week, I actually ended up in the ER last week. I didn't say I felt like I couldn't breathe - but they checked my breathing with the stethoscope, so I feel like they would have said something if it sounded weird. When they said take a deep breath and listened, they said good.

So idk what else to do. "
