Anxiety Support Group

A loooong time ago, like when I was... 10, I believe. I had to have a tooth pulled and they gave me a shot. Oh geez. I started screaming bloody murder. LOL Then around the age of 13, I had another tooth pulled and they didn't give me a shot but some numbing gel. The dentist had a tv in the office and he sort of used it as a distraction for some patients like myself who get anxious about visits. I was watching the Powerpuff Girls and all of a sudden, YANK! And I was all.. "HEY. wtf?! Oh.. you're done? Sweet." lol

i recently had to go just for a check up. since i have had anxiety and panic attacks i was REAL nervous - even though i have been to the dentist like millions of times before! Anyway, i had my check up and the dentist wanted to give my teeth a quick clean - i started freaking out! how silly does that sound!anyway she managed to clean them but i was a nervous wreck by the end of it. Turns out i need my wisdom teeth out at some point - oh no!! lol

hi... i went to the dentist 2 months or so ago and had an injection for a fillin! i went really dizzy in the chair, i was hot and my heart was pumping really fast.. i started panicking a bit and asked the dentist what was happening.. he said it was the adrenalin in the injection... it was awfull, i thought i was going to die!!

YES!!!!!!!!! I had such a panic attack! I got so mad I switched dentists. It's all over my chart PANIC ATTACKS. And they still gave it to me. My dentist now is soo good with me cause he really cares and tries to make me comfortable:)
